Last Group 5/18/22

Good morning everyone. This is the last week we meet for BRIGHT until we start back up in the fall. To close out this year we were feeling that this is the perfect time for everyone to get to share a testimony of how God has moved and become known (realized) in their lives this year. Nothing formal, just each of us saying a little about how God has shown up for us this year.

This week I saw a post by a friend and it was so perfect for this Wednesday.

My friend posted this: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” Revelation 12:11. We already have the blood of Jesus, but the testimony is up to us. Testimonies are powerful, and they belong to God. They are his, like his blood, but they are given to us to use; for HIS kingdom and HIS glory!”

Testimonies are unique and special. They are stories in our lives of places that have been touched by God’s kindness, goodness, generosity, grace, healing and more! Its God showing up in our lives through his spirit to change and transform something that is not possible through man (or man alone). When we share testimonies its a reminder of how God loves us and how he moves on our behalf. It is also powerful because in our words it releases a gift from heaven for others. Something for other to grab who need a miracle in their life. The stories of Gods power in our lives reproduced in others. Come share your story, be encouraged and lets share life together.
